INVU is repidly becoming the de-facto document-filing system for small businesses of all kinds across the UK.  Combining an unthreatening user interface with document routing and a range of document handling tools for scanned material..

A recent addition is a web-enabled module - giving access to documents over the internet for users who are away from the office.

INVU is installed in over 120 practices in the UK, and many hundreds of other businesses.

Spindle is a document creation and routing tool that sits between the user and their printers.  Spindle allows users to carry out a range of actions on any print job, including applying watermarks and overlays, saving PDF copies of the printed documents, and even re-directing the print job away from the printer and on to its destination via email or fax.

Spindle has specfic integration with INVU, and can be linked to Singleview's document output as well,  It can be seem as a complimentary to the primary Document Management system.

Singleview was created by a north London firm of Chartered Accountants before being taken over by Solution 6 (later to become MYOB UK and now CCH Software).  I was the product manager for Singleview for eight years.

Singleview is installed in around 140 organisations, the majority of which are firms of Chartered Accountants.

Its main strenghs are the depth of its integration to practice management databases and other software.  This gives Singleview the ability to modify its behaviour to match individual clients in the database - changing filing options and security settings to suit.

Singleview is rare is its abilty to populate template letters with data extracted from practice databases.

CCH has now moved Singleivew into 'maintenance' and is taking no further orders for the product.
